Speculation babble and plot bunny babble on 5D’s please be ignoring
So according to some new translated summaries, Yusei meets Rudger and discusses his “dark heart”. Meanwhile Jack and Crow admit they don’t know shit about Yusei. I suspect it could go a couple ways.
→ Jack goes and Atlas punches Yusei back to his senses so hard it puts Simon punching out Rossiu to shame
→ Rudger channels his brother and pulls a Rexposition. With possibly a side of mindrape and a drive by the rainbow road of doom.
Or if Nina’s theory about the Head mark being possessed and everything is true then…
→ Yusei gets the mark’s evil exorcised or loses an arm o.o
→ He gets an evil side to go with YGO tradition that turns out to be not so evil but still needs to be defeated. Perhaps a tag duel with Jack and Crow.
→ He pulls a Nia, goes evil and helps out with Ilaister on their moon base :]
Another interesting theory I’ve seen crop up is the three tenors are the same people, just different ages. Which kinda makes sense since their ace monsters are a line of evolution, with a dinosaur and a human and maybe a tron? And in the end they do this massive combination?
OH speaking of the tenors. Same person who voices Jose is the narrator for Gurren Lagann. Now I have a reason to like him ;3
And now for the plot bunny drop off since I fail at finishing anything that’s not a simple drabble.
One interesting idea I’m toying with is a clone alternate universe where Zero Reverse occurs in the current timeline instead of seventeen years back. All the Signers die and only Yusei’s body is intact enough to clone him. Through DNA cloning they managed to successfully make a clone and while in development, he experiences the memories of his original self. Could get interesting having to overhaul the Dark Signers and recently wrecked Satellite to toy around with.
Another one is an in universe explanation for a collar!Kiryu. He is given his collar during his time in jail~ And when he almost defeats Yusei he kidnaps him for hur hur strange things >>
Finally I need to write a Demak story that tells about his tale pre-DS hood. Because he needs it :<.
