I've seen parts of the Silent Hill games, they're very good I remember an Ex-ex couldn't get pass the 3rd game because the pink bunny thing scared him too much and it was really funny to watch a grown man keep throwing his controller on the floor and bricking himself over a video game. XD

The Nutcracker, Rats of NIMH, and Watership Down animated movies if you haven't seen them yet. :O

Also, if you like action, try either Hunter x Hunter or Outlaw Star. The animation for both of those series is also BEAUTIFUL. (I love old anime.)

UH LET'S SEE. Since you love Spyro the Dragon, check out the Sly Cooper games, as they're in a slightly similar vein, and they're also quirky and fun even though a few characters like Bentley annoy the shit out of me. Particularly try the first game and then the second game (Band of Thieves), as they're quite a bit different from each other, and if you love 'em, there's a third game as well. :x

Also if you want a shoujo anime that is not lame and Mary-sue and is actually amusing, Maho Tsuki Tai might be for you. <3

While I'm in that vein, Princess Tutu is a girl anime that starts off for the first five episodes as pretty bland, but from there on it picks up quickly into a very complex and dark series. The characters are fantastic. It's by far one of the best, if not the very best, animes I've ever seen. This an award-winning AMV that has single-handedly convinced many people into watching it for the first time. IDK if it might be too shoujo-y for you, though.
