I don't get renaming the itemfinder either, especially since it kept its original name in the original games!

I kind of like the name Ethan, but I agree. It doesn't really fit into the vision of a Pokemon protagonist. Lyra's kind of nice though, so long as I keep hearing it in my head the way I have for years XD

They didn't change the slot machines in the original Gold/Silver/Crystal :V But I'll admit, I actually do enjoy playing Minesweeper XD

I think they changed the Itemfinder to the Dowsing Machine because HGSS is a 4th Gen game and that way, it matches the same device in DPPt :)

Hey, when I played Silver I just named the guy Eryn and pretended that he was a girl and also Faulker's little sister. And then wrote fanfiction about it. I was 12 years old shut up. So no skin off my nose, at least? :U

They changed the Game Corner to mindsweeper? Lol! Why? They worried it's too "adult" for kids of today? Times have changed since I was a 9 year old playing the original Silver back in 2001 obviously XD
