Writer's Block: Kids or child-free?

Childfree all the way. I've known I wouldn't have children since I was.... 12/13? I can put up with young children in small doses and can tolerate those who are around 11 or older for a while....

... buuuuut its simply not for me. I'd rather have a cat and focus on my career then settle down. Also I'm not in a relationship, but I want my future significant other to respect my decision :3

Okay now back to playing video games and avoiding work.

that and I don't want to give this shitty gene pool to anyone else. I don't wanna become my dad to some innocent little kid and then tell them OH ALSO YOU HAVE DEPRESSION ADD DIABETES HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE NEARSIGHTEDNESS HEART DISEASE AND ETC. ETC. so. yeah.

Ohh goody I'm not as alone as I thought X3 I decided when I was 8 or 9, though. XDD I told my mum and she said I'd change my mind. Guesssss whaaattttt. Almost 20 and didn't 8DDD

It's just really annoying how people treat you like you're a failure to humanity and a SINNER or weird just cuz you don't have/don't want kids =///

But the way I think about it...not only is it really bad if you don't feel like you can handle it (and have them anyway) but it's like....they never asked to be brought into this world, and it's such an awful place. Srsly, I think that if I ever had kids, I would ADOPT someone in NEED. My mum calls me selfish but I think she's the selfish one for tryin to push me to something that's not good for me, or the alleged children that would end up having ME for a mum =/ I have issues >____>
