Janime, what the hell? More moderators! Do we really need about 35 mods running around? The old staff was fine as it is. Plus Janime isn't as active as it used to be, and Saar doing all this without asking the other staff, hell without asking even Janime herself is just really retarded and stupid. And when I brought it up in the Suggestions box, people agreed but Saar shut me up :<.

The new mods didn't even have to do anything except ask for a user forum to be created and later when the user forums became regular forums they all got promoted. Even though some of them aren't qualified to be in that position.

And I have had a couple people I was friends with or respected leave today or within recent memory, thank god most of them have LJs. I would leave myself if it wasn't for my friends, clubs, and keeping up with the 5D's news.

But on a happier note, it finally stopped raining today and the sky is so clear and its quite warm for December ^^

Yeah, but modding is such a thankless job. Don't be too hard on them, despite whether or not they deserve it. The old staff does deserve a break.

I mean, 1000+ active users is a lot. I mod a TCG with ~250 people along with 7-9 other mods and we're always swamped.

It might be different with a board though. I've modded a few of them, and they're generally not as tiring.

Yes but even most of the old staff doesn't even do much modding themselves because it isn't needed as much. Janime has been a lot less active than it used to be and having 3 or 4 mods to some sections that get maybe 5 new posts a day is just absurd.

And yes 1000+ active users is a lot, but the number of users that actually do stuff on the forum is much less.

Some characters are more ambiguous than others when it comes to who they are attracted to. Mikage and Carly, for instance, very much adore Jack. But Carly also seems to have a curious attraction to Misty. (Mind you, this is all speculation, seeing as this is a shonen anime.) Jack, on the other hand, focuses all of his energy on Yuusei while Ushio chases blindly after Mikage. Such a conundrum!

What are your thoughts, good Janime posters? And do try to be nice. This isn't a shipping war thread.

I don't post much there; I only go there for my friends and the YxJ club that I guess I run now...have to ask Min about that since she left...but Janime is just becoming overcrowded and the number of annoying members is increasing. The mods can be mean and I don't even look at the 5D's episode discussions...Maybe I should leave too. I would have to think about it.

It isn't really overcrowded, its just that the ratio of good to bad members is really really bad. Most of the mods(the old ones at least) aren't too mean they just don't do any sort of modding

Yeah you know they do have a ton of mods now that you mention it. It's kind of useful but on the other hand kind of frustrating since some 'mods' get egos and boss people around like the own the site.

We need a Yugioh GX OVA and then I'll be inspired to go to janime. It's a lot more fun when you have something to look forward to or you're trying to get 500 posts.

The issue has been solved. He just removed all the new mods and have apologized to us for not coming to us before acting on this decision.
