God dammit school

Okay lets have a talk, if you the administrator of the school program, found out that that some of your students had failed Pre-Calculus, what do you do?

Do you tell the students immediately after finding this out around the end of December? Allowing them to retake it in the Spring Semester and get it over with as soon as possible.

Or do you procrastinate and wait until two weeks after Spring classes have started? So that it is too late for them to sign up for Spring classes.

Well, my school chose the latter, and as you can guess, I am not a happy Starry now. I'm pissed off, why the hell would they wait so long to tell me I don't know. And now they're saying that they want me to take it online during the summer *headesk* Just what I needed after I have already decided to take another class over the summer. Oh well, at least half the class failed too. So either they all suck as bad as me or the teacher epically fails at teaching math I dunno...

If they took so long to tell you about it, I would say the latter of those two, mmmyes.
Don't let it worry you TOO much - they're the ones at fault, so things should work out to your benefit. If I were you, I'd INSIST that they allow you to sign up - they have an obligation to tell you immediately, not piss around with it, mmmyes.

I honestly have no idea why they were pussyfooting around it. They said that they wanted to wait since so many people failed that class but it still doesn't make any sense.

I would sign up if the last day for spring classes hadn't already passed.

Okay, how did that teacher of yours get a degree?

Seriously, that is completely messed up. I'd even prefer a teacher that bugs you about every single assignment compared to that.

But even though this is a bum wrap, there's unfortunately nothing you could do about the mistake your teacher made - except inform the administrators of the summer courses. If it is futile, however, do not lose hope. Just finish the course and it'll all be over. ^_^

Man, she does know math but she did do a half assed job at explaining it carefully for the math challenged like me. And other than online quizzes, which weren't that helpful, we got little practice -_-

They are actually trying to find out right now if its offered during the summer. Because if I take it in the fall it will just be a repeat of what happened last time -_-;;
