True, but I think that, even though he blames himself, some part of canon!Yusei knows that he could have done nothing short of time-travel to stop ZR (or at least I like to credit him so much rationality). I think that tail_of_power would blame himself even more, since he doesn't just associate ZR to himself through his father and those the Momentumproject, but is the actual cause. A big difference, I'd say.
Taking Crow out, would leave Rudger to answer how Yusei is supposed to deal with his own darkness.Though would he really answer that, and does he even have the ability to. I also question whether Yusei could bring himself to end the duel under those circumstances. If he doesn't, perhaps the lingering guilt and perhaps some sort of vision of the ZR-Zombies would turn him into DS after losing?
