What om earth is it with this show's animation style jumping all over the damn place in terms of quality? It's very jarring -- especially when compared with GX, which had no massive fluctuations, as far as I can recall.

I have no idea. Season three has been lower quality in general, at least it was more stable in season one and such. Its also probably the fact that Hara hasn't done a single episode up until now since season 2 ended.

This episode failed so hard it was win just because IT WAS SO TERRIBLE.

And yeah, that totally is the best shot in the episode despite some of the mistakes (god Yuusei your marker). Very cute too.

I'm still surprised they brought Kiryu back.
