I think me and Nina found the real reason GX was canceled.

[00:44] Nina: end of the game, you discover that Will and Kara are, in fact, not two people, but one soul in two bodies
[00:44] Nina: Will uses the power of his friends (who are all dead) and of the Six Mystic Statues to fuse his soul to Kara's
