Arrrrrgh I hate. I hate dueling Bommer in RoA. Because its a Riding Duel and the duel doesn't count unless you wait until he summons his zombie shamu. Seriously I had break the game in half in order to beat him. I've already hacked all the cards in, because its stupid that the game won't allow you to build a deck you want at the start (at least the starter deck... is an improvement). I had to physically remove the ban list and use the refill LP codes in order to win. Took about 12 resets but I did it \o/

But now I get the sweet treat of watching Kiryu and Yusei duel next <3~ And I discovered some naice combos like bringing out Wira on the first turn via Chaos End Master's effect. Btw, does anybody know any good tuners besides Chaos End Master that work well with Lightsworns? I think I'm going to try them for a while and see what works.

I think things like this is why I haven't been able to beat a YGO game since Nightmare Troubador. They've all gotten ridiculously hard that it's near impossible to do anything without cheats which I flatly refuse to do (okay, Tag Force 4 I downloaded a few game saves, but I still mostly play with the "I did it all myself" file.... actually, Tag Force is the only one I can do decently at anymore since I've built myself a somewhat half-assed Blackwing deck sans Aslla which is added for "making my own fun" purposes since I don't have it yet. It's nice to have a deck archetype I'm fond of to be so swarmtasticly broken. The last type I was attached to before that was D-heroes no one is surprised and holy crap I find them hard to run XD)

Pretty much, I tried to abstain when I got back into the games back in WC 2009, but I just could not get past the first few duelists because everybody in the game runs a complete archetype while you're stuck with a crap mishmash deck that you can't do much with because of lack of funds or the shops have a very very limited selection. It's gotten even worse in 2010 where you have to beat Crow and a six samurai deck before the end of the second chapter (which the latter is even a pain while using my broken Lightsworn deck since you start with 4000 LP). So I don't feel bad about hacking in all the cards in beginning so I can build the deck I want (the only extensive cheat I use other then auto win for people I've dueled ten times or more and can't win)

The funny thing is, I still find the last few starters better than the one that was in 2007. That one had the most watered down sorry excuse for an E-Hero deck ever and expected you to win with it. But that one you could trade cards between it and Spirit Caller, and Spirit Caller had the "you can buy card packs for zero money" exploit and since I had a decent spellcaster deck in that one I just traded the whole thing over. The thing that got me stuck in '09 was that first D-wheel race against Ushio. '08... was just boring. And '10......... I appear to have randomly stopped playing again despite it being hilarious. XD But I never really had much of a problem with the decks. I do recall with '08 you had to spend an inordinate amount of time bouncing between story and WC mode to unlock the packs though... I'm going to presume that annoying feature stayed the same.

Hood's breath, they're still carrying on with the whole giving you a bullshit structure deck to start with and then making you buy all the cards by winning duels, which you can't do because the structure deck is so shit thing? Maybe its a good thing I haven't bought this game after all. XD

I sold my copy of WC2009...the riding duels are awful, as is the security minigame. Give me clicking on duelists in bland uneventful maps any day of the week~<3

Yep, it would be so so much better if they at least let you chose an actual structure deck at the beginning.
