Is it bad that I first thought the slider thing was a joystick? And I'm probably gonna get that Kid Icarus game, just for the shinys and to tide me over until something else comes along .Lulz at Satori Iwaki calling Kid Icarus a well recognized game when I doubt most people would recognize him if it weren't for Brawl.

Is it really small or is his hand really big...?

His hand? Looks about the same size as a DSi to me.

Bah. It's only you damn kids who wouldn't recognize him. Us oldschoolers like me and the brother, we've been waiting for a new Kid Icarus game since they teased us with the prospect of one on the Super Nintendo back..... okay, I can't even remember when that was. I'm going to speculate early 90's.

Damn kids. No respect for the classics. *shakes cane* Get off my lawn! XD

ahaha

Hey hey I had a SNES and been playing games for 14 years so I'm oldish lol. I didn't keep up with the actual gaming stuff till the late 90's so I missed out.

Now I'm just going to wait for a new Bubble Bobble game.

Storytime! :D In 1983 my parents bought an Atari 2600 (supposedly for "the kids" but given my brother was an infant and I was like, four-ish, it was more for them and when our older cousins dropped by.... then again, '83 there was a huge crash in the industry. They probably picked it up cheap.) Technically we had a Coleco Telstar Ranger too that they bought in '79 It was essentially a Pong machine that had the awesomeest light gun attachment ever (it looked like this giant old-west revolver, it was amazing) for playing a skeet shooting game too. But when they bought that I was an infant. I think I can officially say I've been gaming my entire life. ......this is actually probably a sad state of affairs when you think about it. XD

Yay story <3

Was the gun this (http://www.pong-picture-page.de/catalog/images/Magnavox%20Odyssey%201TL200%20Shooting%20Gallery_www.JPG) by any chance? I was only lucky enough to own a NES gun for playing Duck Hunt on hours on end.

No, the whole system was pretty much this one exactly. Although I swear to god it was called a Telstar Ranger, but according to that site such a thing does not exist. I may be misremembering the name. (going through those I honestly had no idea Coleco even cranked out that many Telstar variants, holy crap XD)
