I just finished watching a Silent Hill 2 walkthrough last night



HOLY SHIT

James is completely insane, wrapped in his own delusions with assraping monsters and hot girls representing his sex drive AND I think he did kill Mary out of mercy >: but I do find it creepy that he stuffed her into his car.

And Angela, oh man I feel so bad for her situation. Her mother and brother died in a fire then her father abused her and then her father warps into this doormonster who headrapes James. And after that she spends her life walking in hell literally.

Its all so beautifully sick and twisted and I love it~ And then on the final area, the hotel, it slams you with a twist following the hotel degrading into true state once

Now I just need to see all the endings (I've only seen the "best" ending and the DOG ending so far) and the "Born from a Wish" scenario. I've heard the true ending is pretty bad with James dying and whatnot :C

Read this. Read it even though it spoilers a lot if you haven't seen game x or something. Its an amazing piece of meta that answers a lot of questions about the series and shows Silent Hill's depth.


Also I changed my header and the colors, lemme know if it looks okay <3~ Must go download some Geass episodes today~

Silent Hill 2 is my favorite version of the game. Truefax. Even though it had nothing to do with the original storyline, it was just so...fffffff~<3

I like Silent Hill 3 the best. Mostly because Heather is the easiest character I can relate to and she's a badass girl who takes on a god and stuff. Plus it relates to the first game which is awesome. Even if Harry's death did make me go >:

But Silent Hill 2 is great because nobody is sane. Well except maybe Laura, but she's a kid who doesn't perceive Silent Hill as a demented town and she's the only character still be alive by the end.

The fact that nobody is sane is what delights me about SH2 so much, tho'. All the psychological implications, all the little trips into "their" worlds...it's beautiful.

And the way that only the annoying but endearing little girl there-it's a mystery how she got there on her own, too-is the only true survivor just touches me, somehow. I wonder if there's any significance in that.

I think I know. After all if Mary managed to leave the hospital even though she was close to death, she simply followed along. Obviously the hospital workers aren't that good :P And Laura herself represents innocence and trying to find love in the normal world.
