Different from the normal spazzings, this time I'm gonna tackle the mind screw.

How did Bruno manage to hide his D-Wheel for starters under the ocean without it deteriorating or rusting to complete hell is rather easy. I believe that since Bruno is hinted to come from another world (either from different planet or the future, which I am leaning on the latter) his Delta Eagle is super advanced enough to make it water proof and could lay undisturbed for a period of time. Like the tenors, its pretty clear that Bruno probably shares a similar connection to his D-Wheel.

Moving on, Momentum is essentially a form of Spiral Energy. It's been said to be an ancient substance in canon, having both a hand in the creation of the Crimson Dragon and its servants and the Earthbound Gods. Therefore it can create and destroy. And the Plantary Particle Project was about converting it to use with modern technology and harnessing it. Yusei has a special connection to it, which is why he survived falling into the pit in episode 57, why he was chosen by a God and that he can achieve Accel Synchro.

Bruno is from the same world as the tenors, and I'm betting by the end of the arc he will die or be destroy, since his sole purpose for existing is helping Yusei and stopping the tenors.

Going into the slipstream allows for one to cross into a higher plane, a different reality. The plane ZONE resides in is the highest, followed by a midpoint plane used for accel synchros or traveling across space, then normal earth. Yusei's vision of Shooting Star Dragon was a creation of his mind brought on by Momentum reading his heart or some shit. It also explains why Shooting Star Dragon resembles the assbaby of Wisel and Stardust, because it was born out of his fear of Wisel.

Despite what people have said about ZONE, I doubt he is Paradox and the similarities are coincidences. Paradox is more likely to come from the same world as the tenors/Bruno/ZONE, but he branched off into a separate path and went off on his own. ZONE is more likely to be a distant future version of Yusei from the doomed world, in which he became a god due all of the momentum he produced/used and his godly dueling abilities. Thus somehow his body warped and became unrecognizable. He sealed himself inside that shrimp form to put his body in suspended animation and preserve it for a long time.

Lastly, I don't think the tenors are robots, but instead the humans from the future are so super advanced, they can become one with their machines so to speak.

/rolls off to do productive things

So.... does this mean 5Ds is ripping off Gurren Lagann again? XD

Okay. More seriously. Personally, given all the talk about "alternate possibilities" I wonder if the multiple dimension thing from GX is going to come up again in some way shape or form. Because that is honestly the first thing that came to my mind when it was brought up. Multiple possibilities means a different path for each one means the potential for alternate dimensions/universes/timelines/whatever. To which I wonder if the Tenors and Bruno might be less from the future and more from some alternate dimension.

Ugh. And if it turns out Yusei became a god I am going to go ballistic in a bad way, I swear. What the hell happened to this being a "team" show?

All it needs now is mechas that duel XD

Oooh that's a good point. Possibly even from an alternate timeline where Duel Monsters manifested themselves into tangibility instead of requiring help through psychic powers. Which might have contributed to the apocalypse.

At least he apparently fucked it up >>;

I actually had the thought (after I shut my computer down to go to bed, else I would have posted this several hours ago) that given that this season is the giant screaming clusterfuck of genetic alchemy references I would not be surprised in the least if ZONE is somehow Yusei ascended. Especially since he and his peen are lurking around "perfect shield" territory already. I need to re-read that alchemy post, I was going over the Peru one a couple days ago for lulz/to remind me of things while I work on insane Aiapaec!Crow fic but... yea Not that I won't be pissed off and expressing my rage in 72pt capslock in the end, but I will be able to say that I saw it coming. XD

Pretty interesting theories. :] I like the Zone | Travel plane | Earth plane division.

Regarding Immi's idea, it's not out of possibility - Paradox's future eerily resembled the vision Darkness spoke of. And the writer of 107 was Shin Yoshida, who was the screenwriter for the movie and GX as well (season 4 according to Wikipedia, but the Animation Book lists him for series composition). So if it's him, expect more of the Mind Screw pop up out there.

I mainly pulled the plane ideas from TWEWY, as it deals heavily with planes and what powers/forms can be used on them.

Ah yeah, the whole UG/real world deal, right? (I think the "real world" had a proper name as well, but I forgot.)

...Would that make Zone the Composer? Ohshi---

Has 5Ds ever had an original idea? XD
I swear, its like a fusion of Power Rangers RPM and Tengen Toppa Gurren Lagann, starring Tristan's second dub voice, Kallen from Code Geass and Raphael and Seto Kaiba's love child. Occasionally guest-starring a sex-changed Kisara, because you've got to love character re-designs.

...a vision of Yusei, Aki and JACK shouting "RPM! GET IN GEAR!" just flashed through my head...I need to become a fanfic writer, I'm a goldmine for parodies. XD

Well fiction itself these days always tends to borrow or be inspired from another source.

Pfffft, now we just need to rip off yusei's clothes and throw him in a manly corset/leather trenchcoat combo. Bruno already stole Kamina's glasses idea with Dark Glass.

Wait if Bruno dies, does that make him Nia? FFFFFF BRUNO IN THAT OUTFIT OHGOD MY EYES THE MENTAL IMAGE--

I was thinking that the tenors and Bruno might be from one of the 12 dimensions Yubel was trying to conquer. I hope they are because that would be a totally awesome GX connection. And they might be some kind of cyborgish human-robot conglomeration. Maybe. You never know with this franchise. It is also entirely possible for the D-Wheel to have stayed underwater for a year and not have the rusted with modern regular earth technology. They make alloys for that. The main concern with it still being able to function would probably be the underwater pressure cracking the monitor, depending on what it's made of. If water seeped into the wrong cracks, the whole computer system would be fucked. What is NOT likely is that it would be in the exact same location after all that time. Ocean currents tend to move shit around. Unless it was wedged in place between some rocks or something, it should've either washed up on shore at some point or drifted out further into the ocean.

I think you're forgetting the part where it rose up in a glowing pillar and was able to drive on top of the water for no reason.

Hey, she asked how it could be underwater without rusting. I was just saying that...

Oh, goddammit. FINE.

Scheindenhammer Delta Eagle is a SeaDoo/motorbike/airplane/dildo hybrid powered by godly magic.
